Dan is a new friend of mine we met through our breeder. Argos is actually Griz’s big brother from the litter before. He’s sitting at 11 months compared to Griz’s 4 months. I’m super excited to have someone else to work with. Argos is got a gnarly bite on him. His baseline seems to be to clamp and pull. And the POWER!! . Man he’s strong.

This is our second time meeting each other, first time was on a walk at Palmers, which is not structured like this. We’ll see his first attempt at running through some BH drills. He has the leash hanging as he moves through the shape of the BH. after the second right turn he deviates to drilling the sit/stay and down/stays.

I think more reps will deal with the distraction of a judge or new environment. More toy rewards for increasing drive. More food rewards during a flip finish.

Hey Dan, I just wanted to make a video because I felt like maybe the captions were rude or it didn't come out right. So, I just wanted to show a little bit what I mean. So, I'm doing the healing or the fussing training here with Grizz. And I'm not doing our BH stuff. I think this is this would be good for you and Argo. I'm trying to work on all of the stuff that I saw in yours. So, like I'm trying to keep high energy here. Um, and I'm trying to work on those left about faces uh pretty frequently and changing of paces. So, I'm going fast and slow. Right here, there's a plat in motion. I tried. It took me two tries to get her to do it, but they're a lot. She's really attentive as you can see. And the and uh as the video goes on, you'll start to see her get a little tired. >> You see how she's looking up right here? This is uh this comes from dropping it out of the armpit randomly. So, every now and then I randomly drop it out there. Right there, you see I dropped it a little bit and I kicked it. That was actually an accident. The kick was just to get more movement out of it cuz I meant to throw it. She messes up the about face here. So what I do is I just kind of reset and then I move a little bit slower and help guide her a little bit. >> Starting to lose her release.
