I was showing this to some of my military buddies, and he brought up a pretty good point about it. The likelyhood of needing Griz to attack an intruder when I have a weapon is pretty low. Most likely the situation wouldn’t call for a weapon and a dog, and if it did, there’s going to be legal issues where we look at prison and a dead dog. So the idea of an intruder drill needs to be trained with this in mind. We need to think situations through and ensure that we respond in a defensive manner. This means we don’t send the dog on someone running away. We probably don’t want to send the dog initially. I think this shows how good IGP is, because what we want is a scary dog while we “talk” someone off the property.

However it’s still a fun idea, and I think there’s still scenarios here worth training.
